ANF Seizes 26.5 Kilograms of Ice Drug in Karachi

ANF foils narcotic smuggling attempt, confiscate 26.5 kg of Ice drugs.

A Mardan resident travelling to Saudi Arabia on flight number GF-751 was found to be in possession of 1256 grammes of Ice drug and 6.5 kg of suspicious material during the third operation at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi.

He revealed that during an operation near Bahria Town Phase-4, more than 100 illegal pills were taken out of the possession of a suspect who was a resident of Rawalpindi.

14.4 kg of charras were retrieved in a separate operation near the Kohat Hangu Bypass.

270 grammes of charras were found in a package booked for Bangkok at the Karachi GPO office during the fourth operation by the ANF and Customs Department.

He reported that during the fifth operation at the Faisalabad International Airport, 390 grammes of heroin were found in the possession of a passenger from Pakpattan travelling to Dubai on aircraft number FZ-392.

ANF discovered 1020 grammes of Ice drug in the possession of a suspect who was a resident of Lahore and had been detained in the nearby village of “Padhana.” In a separate operation, 922 grammes of heroin were discovered in a package that had been booked for delivery to London at a private courier service in Lahore.

90 kilogrammes of charras and 20 kg of heroin were found in a barren area during the eighth operation that was carried out close to the “Kuchlak” Bypass in Quetta.

He noted that different cases have been filed against the accused while more inquiries are continuing.
