Gwadar International Airport’s Inauguration on the Cards

Constructed Gwadar International Airport will soon be formally opened.

According to reliable sources, the airport’s safety check has been completed, and it is completely equipped for flight operations. As a result, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is anticipated to officially open the Gwadar International Airport’s on March 23.

The airport, which is hidden 26 kilometers east of Gwadar city, cost over $200 million to build. It’s interesting to note that the airport’s groundbreaking ceremony was conducted in March 2019 by Imran Khan, the previous prime minister.

According to the website for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, the project was finished on schedule because the deadline was March 2023.

A review meeting on the “Test flight at the new Gwadar International Airport” was held in Islamabad earlier in the day, and it was presided over by Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal.

The CAA Complex, landslide infrastructure, cargo building, Airports Security Force (ASF) Camp for 1,050 People, and 132kV grid station were among the projects the participants discussed as they made progress.

The multi-billion dollar China Pakistan Economic Corridor project includes several key components, one of which is the construction of the Gwadar airport.

Together with a network of roads, the airport would make it possible for businesspeople and tourists to visit the lovely city and take in the tranquil atmosphere in addition to searching for commercial prospects.
