Government of Sindh has declared holiday in the province on Labor Day.
Notification has been issued by the Chief Secretary of Sindh, in the notification, it is said that there will be a public holiday on May 1 on Labor Day across Sindh.
However, the Cabinet Division circular listing all gazetted holidays for 2024 included May 1 as a public holiday.
On May 1st, the government will formally declare that all educational establishments, including schools, will remain closed nationwide.

Due to Labor Day, schools across the nation, including those in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, and Punjab, will be closed on Wednesday.
On May 1, all governmental and private offices will be closed. It is also anticipated that State Bank of Pakitan will declare a bank holiday on Labor Day.
