He claimed that it was a sneak peek at his next project. The actor stated in a video message, “I hit a boy in a video that’s going viral. We only had one rehearsal for this sequence, even though it’s in our movie. There was going to be another rehearsal. I was told to start by the director. Just as we were about to start, the boy from the video entered. I had no idea who he was.
“I thought he was one of our crew,” he went on, “so I slapped him in accordance with the scene and told him to leave.”
“Well, I was going to call him back, but he ran away,” he continued. Perhaps his friend took the footage. I’ve never refused to take a picture of someone. This isn’t what I do. This was an accident. If I have misunderstood something, I sincerely apologize. I promise never to act in this manner again.
Regarding his career, Patekar’s upcoming film explores the bond between a father and his child. The father, who is experiencing dementia, describes his emotional bond with his child.
