PM Orders Investigation into Bhara Kahu Flyover Collapse

PM Shehbaz Sharif form committee to probe Bhara Kahu flyover collapse.

The Prime Minister declared that “no carelessness would be tolerated” during the construction of the Bhara Kahu flyover project.

Every aspect of the incident will be investigated by the inquiry committee, which is led by former Interior Secretary Shahid Khan. The committee has been given an urgent directive by the prime minister to prepare an inquiry report.

Incidence two within a week

On Thursday, the girders of a flyover that was still being built in Islamabad’s Bhara Kahu neighbourhood collapsed.

The event occurred less than a week after the flyover shuttering collapsed, killing two labourers and injuring three more.

Nonetheless, the incident had not been reported to have caused any injuries or casualties.

The girders of a bridge that is being built have fallen, according to the Islamabad police on Twitter. In order to maintain efficient traffic movement, it was further stated that rescue and police personnel were present.

In another instance, the shuttering of a flyover being built for the Bhara Kahu bypass collapsed, killing at least two workers and injuring three more.
