Qavi Khan, Pakistani Actor Died In Canada

Renowned Pakistani actor Muhammad Qavi passed away at 80 in Toronto.

President of the Arts Council Muhammad Ahmed Shah acknowledged the veteran Pakistani actor’s passing in a statement, noting that the Qavi Khan had been ill for some time and had been receiving treatment in Canada.

Pride of Performance, the Nigar Prize, and the Sitara-e-Imtiaz were given to Qavi Khan. The charming actor appeared in around 200 movies. Also, he had roles in a number of hugely popular radio plays and theatre productions.

Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister, has conveyed his sorrow and grief at the passing of renowned artist Muhammad Qavi Khan.

The prime minister claimed in a statement that actor earned praise from the populace and demonstrated his talent through work in radio, television, theatre, and films.

He claimed that the Sitara Imtiaz and Pride of Performance prizes were state-level acknowledgements of his creative prowess.

Qavi Khan began his career as a young musician at Radio Peshawar, demonstrating his innate aptitude. People were still remembering him for his roles in “Lakhon Maen Teen” and “Andhera Ujala,” he continued.

The death of Qavi Khan, according to the prime minister, was an irreparable loss for the arts.

He prayed to Allah Ta’ala to give the deceased’s soul eternal peace and to give the grieving family the strength to bear the loss.
