Sindh Government Announced Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays

Karachi: The Sindh government announced four holidays on Eid-ul-Fitr.

The Sindh government has announced 4-day holidays on Eid-ul-Fitr, the notification of which has also been issued.

The notification states that the dates of the Eid holidays are Wednesday, April 10, through Saturday, April 13.

It is noteworthy that the Meteorological Department has disclosed that there is a chance to witness the Shawwal moon on April 9.

Regarding the moon for Eid-ul-Fitr, the Department of Meteorology has predicted that the new moon would emerge on April 8 at 11:21 pm, with a possibility that it could be seen on April 9.

However, the federal government has also declared April 10–13, Eid-ul-Fitr, as a national holiday.

The state of law and order in Karachi, Pakistan’s largest city, has deteriorated. Allegations from the government, opposition leaders, and residents state that the MQM-P pushed the provincial executive apparatus to apprehend those responsible for the deadly robbery instances in which expensive objects were taken from citizens.
