Historic moment: Saudi Arabia & Iran to resume flight, reopen embassy.
The announcement was made after the first official meeting between the Foreign Minister of Iran Hossein Amir Abdullahian and the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Faisal bin Farhan in seven years in Beijing.
A short video of the encounter, which was shared on Twitter by Saudi Arabia’s state television station Al-Akhbariya on Thursday, showed the two ministers shaking hands and smiling in front of a traditional Chinese painting and the flags of their respective nations.

In a statement issued after the meeting, the Foreign Ministers emphasized the importance of implementing and enabling the Beijing Agreement to build mutual trust, expand areas of cooperation and build security, stability, and prosperity in the region. Get help.
On an earlier basis, both the Kingdom and Iran have also committed to restoring their diplomatic posts within 60 days of normalization of relations and will take necessary steps to ensure that this happens with Riyadh, Tehran. as well as in Jeddah and Mashhad, where they had their general consulates.
