Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced the construction first cancer hospital in Punjab near Valencia Town.
According to the announcement, officials briefed Chief Minister Punjab’s Maryam Nawaz about the site of the cancer hospital.
He reviewed the proposed site of the cancer hospital and issued instructions to invite the best specialist doctors from around the world for the hospital.
Addressing the gathering, Maryam Nawaz announced plans to establish a government cancer hospital for patients in Punjab’s. where they will bring the best doctors and the latest machinery.
He said that patients will be treated free of cost in the first government cancer hospital of Punjab.
Additionally, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz also instructed the construction of a hotel for the caregivers of the patients.
During the site visit, Maryam Nawaz, former Senator Pervaiz Rasheed, Assembly Member Khawaja Salman Rafiq, Khawaja Imran Nazir, Sania Ashiq, and Dr. Adnan were in attendance.
The Chief Secretary, Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR), Secretary Communication and Works Department (C&W), Secretary Co Operative, Commissioner Lahore, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Lahore, and other key officials also attended the event.
