Social media disruption worries users all over around the globe. Netblocks, an internet monitoring service, stated that Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger were experiencing login session outages across numerous regions.
Meta has over 3.19 billion daily active users throughout its family of apps, which includes WhatsApp and Threads.
Its status dashboard earlier suggested that the application programming interface for WhatsApp Business was also having issues.

However, the downtime for WhatsApp and Threads was far smaller, according to Downdetector, which analyzes outages by collecting status information from various sources, including users.
The disruptions began about 8 pm Pakistan time (1500 GMT) and lasted for around two hours.
According to outage tracking website Downdetector.com, there were more than 550,000 complaints of interruptions for Facebook and approximately 92,000 for Instagram during the peak of the outage.
“Earlier today, a technical issue made it impossible for consumers to utilize certain of our services.
“We resolved the issue for everyone who was impacted,” Meta representative Andy Stone stated in a post on X, without providing any details.
On Tuesday, at the height of the difficulty, Facebook’s status page, created for advertisers, indicated that the site was suffering “major disruptions” and that “engineering teams are actively looking to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.”
Users attempting to access Facebook were prompted to log in, but were unable to do so using the right password. On Instagram, mobile users reported that their feeds were not refreshing.
According to reports, Meta’s virtual reality headsets were also experiencing issues, with the device’s Horizon World platform preventing users from signing in.
