RIYADH: Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz has urged the kingdom’s citizens to offer the Istisqa Prayer on Thursday, November 13, due to the lack of rain according to a statement issued by the Saudi Royal Court.
The royal court’s message asked people to refrain from their sins, seek forgiveness, return to Allah Almighty, treat each other well, and do good deeds and give charity.
According to a tweet on the X account of the Harmain Sharfain, Sheikh Yasser Al-Dosari will be the imam and preacher of the Istiqah prayer at the Grand Mosque on Thursday.
It should be noted that the Istisqa Prayer was also offered in mosques in the United Arab Emirates on October 17.
