Marine El Himer, French model, has announced her conversion to Islam.
Marine El Himer, a model and social media influencer with millions of followers, announced her conversion to Islam on her official Instagram account. On her Instagram, the celebrity posted a short video of her Shahadah and wrote, “I never made it official, I converted to Islam months ago.”
Himer described it as a “choice of soul, heart, and reason” that she had “freely and proudly” practised in the previous year. “There is no shame in converting to a different religion.” “This is a fundamental right that everyone should have the freedom to exercise,” she said.
Himer also stated that she has evolved since her conversion and is currently rethinking her life choices in both personal and professional capacities.
Himer also shared snippets from her visit to Masjid-al-Haram, which she described as the “happiest day” of her life.
“There are no words that can express the intensity of my happiness and emotions right now.” A spiritual journey that I hope will continue to uplift and guide me Inshallah,” she concluded before thanking her fans for their unwavering support and kindness on her path to Islam.
According to the French press, Himer grew up with her stepfather and continued her search for her biological father and where they belonged. During this time, she was introduced to Islamic teachings.
