A 17-year-old tennis player died in Islamabad

Karachi’s young tennis player Zainab Ali Naqvi passed away in Islamabad.

In a statement, the Pakistan Tennis Federation reported that Zainab Ali Naqvi, a teenage tennis player, Died suddenly on Friday night, February 12, 2024 in Islamabad.

Seventeen-year-old Zainab traveled to Islamabad to compete in a junior competition in the region. The young player had gone to take a bath after the match and when she did not return for 30 minutes, the door was broken and she was found dead.

Senator Salim Saifullah Khan, recently elected President of Tennis Federation Inamul Haq Qureshi and other senior officials have expressed deep sorrow over her death and prayed for the deceased’s forgiveness.

It should be noted that Zainab Ali Naqvi was the best player of Karachi region and she had achieved success both in Sindh and Karachi.
