Dubai Airport passenger’s traffic returns to pre-pandemic, reaching.
Before the Covid-19 Pre-pandemic, Dubai was the world’s busiest airport for foreign travellers, reaching 18,455,938 travellers in the three months ending in September, and the highest number since 17.8 million in the first quarter of 2020.

The recovery in people travelling directly from and to Dubai, rather than through the commercial hub of the United Arab Emirates, is exceeded our expectations.
“The recovery of the point-to-point market has been faster than the recovery of the transfer market,” he told AFP. Based on a company statement, passenger predictions for 2022 have been lifted to 64.3 million, with “the possibility of a stronger surge in the offing” in the final quarter. From January to September, the airport had 46.3 million passengers, a rise of 167.6 percent compared to last year and 72 percent over the same time in 2019.
Annual projections stand at 77.8 million for next year and 87.4 million for 2024, which would beat the pre-pandemic level of 86.4 million seen in 2019 The yearly statistic is expected to reach a new high of 93.3 million passengers in 2025, surpassing the existing record of 89.2 million achieved in 2018.
