Tragic home fire in Lower Kohistan, KP claims 10 lives, Rescue 1122.
A house in the Seri Pattan neighbourhood of the district caught fire, resulting in the fall of the roof and the entrapment of the occupants beneath the rubble.
Rescue 1122 fire trucks and ambulances arrived to the scene as soon as they learned about the event and began the rescue effort.
Because of the severity of the fire and the amount of debris, rescue teams from Shangla and Upper Kohistan were also requested for aid.
13 people were successfully recovered by rescuers throughout the operation. Three of the injured were transferred for treatment to local medical centres.
Officials with Rescue 1122 report that one individual is still missing, and recovery attempts are under progress.
