ECC Approves Hajj Policy for 2023

The Hajj Policy 2023 was approved by Economic Coordination Committee.

The Hajj quota allotted to Pakistan for the year 2023 is 179,210, and it will be split equally. between government and private Hajj programmes in accordance with the policy (50:50).

Under the sponsorship programme, a quota of 50% of each will be set aside.

The sponsorship programme for the government’s Hajj quota is anticipated to produce $194 million. and the private programme is anticipated to generate more than $250 million.

Bringing the total to more than $440 million. The burden of dealing with foreign currencies is anticipated to decrease.
