Pakistanis Angered by Wed Photoshoot at King Edward Medical University

KEMU Wedding photoshoot sparks criticism of administration’s decision.

The problem surfaced following wedding-related Instagram posts featuring the KEMU building in the background. The university building is almost 150 years old, as should be noted.
The wedded pair could be seen roaming around the ancient landmark and striking various positions for pictures in the footage. Social media users claimed that the KEMU is not a tourist destination or wedding Photoshoot place.

A university official, however, claimed that the pair did not have management’s approval and that the photographers broke onto the campus after it had closed. While a more thorough investigation is being conducted with the use of CCTV evidence, he continued to insist that the security personnel had given them permission to enter.

A three-member investigation panel has just been established by the Registrar of KEMU Lahore, Dr. Riasat Ali, to look into the wedding photography that took place at the university’s Patiala Block. Director IT Muhammad Tariq Arfan and Director Admin Muhammad Shafiq are members of the panel under the direction of Dr. Riasat Ali.

Salman Khan's Twitter Account Hacked, Sale on Dark Web

Salman Khan Twitter, with 40M followers, is the second most-followed.

According to reports, the hacker also took control of the accounts of several other well-known individuals, including American singer Charlie Puth and Google CEO Sundar Pichai.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, has reportedly been offered a deal by hackers, who make the claim to have obtained the data of close to 400 million Twitter users.

Huge amounts of data, including email and phone numbers, had been breached and sold on the dark web, according to intellectual ability firm Hudson Rock. Additionally, it posted images of the Twitter post where the hacker disclosed details about the data leak.

The hacker stated in his post, “I am selling data of +400 million unique Twitter users that were scraped via a weakness, this data is completely private.

If Elon Musk or Twitter are reading this, those who already face the possibility of GDPR fines due to the exposure of the personal information of over 54 million users. There will now be fines for the 400 million user data leak, the post stated.

“Buying this data exclusively is your best option to avoid paying $2.76 million in CDPR breach fines like Facebook did (due to 533 million users being scrapped),” it continued.

Scientists Discover Eco-Friendly Fluorescent Nanoparticles from Tea Bag

Pakistani Scientists Discovered Environmental Friendly Fluorescent Nanoparticles from Teabags

Pak scientists find eco-friendly fluorescent nanoparticles in teabags.

Discovery of Fluorescent Nanoparticles from Teabags: Tea bags were discovered by Aumber Abbas, an Oxford University student and Ph.D. candidate at Newcastle University in the UK. In order to create Graphene Quantum Dots, the researchers worked on used teabags (GQDs). To find iron in drinking water and people with Parkinson’s disease, they discovered a very selective sensor.

In addition, Graphene, a carbon allotrope comprised of small particles and discovered in 2004. With the use of Scotch tape, you can quickly extract a sheet of carbon atoms known as graphene from a piece of graphite.

In addition,

his amazing material was discovered and awarded the Nobel prize. As a result, graphene is the ideal material for new study in several fields, including medicine and material science.

On the other hand, scientists and researchers from all over the world are continually working to optimize Graphene for desired outcomes. For instance, Pablo Jarillo-Herrero at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) revealed in March 2018 that one-atom-thick sheets of graphene exhibit superconductivity when they are stacked on top of one another with a tiny twist.

Similarly, the four scenes in GQDs offered the developers a hint to make some more adjustments. Although the team intended for the particles to glow, graphene has no energy or bandgap. But Abbas and his group successfully used a new strategy for dealing with this problem.

One issue with graphene, according to Amber Abbas, is that it has zero bandgaps, which restrict its optical emission and its use in the field of fluorescence. To do this, I introduced a band gap and chopped the graphene sheet into little pieces in an effort to overcome the problem.

Small fragments of graphene, therefore, began to fluoresce. He further added that creating cost-effective advanced material was our primary goal. As a result, we began using a used black tea bag.

Graphene Quantum dot Formulation

The initial step in the entire procedure was to roast the leftover black tea to 500°C, turning it into black char. The resultant char was then passed through a high-pressure off vessel at 200–250°C while Oxone chemical was present. After the reaction, the mixture is utilized to filter and get rid of the microscopic graphene particles.

In the filtrate liquid, the nanoscale graphene sheets started to glow. Since the dots may now generate fluorescences, a bandgap has developed in the substance. The team was able to turn the GQDs into useful sensing material as a consequence.

The following phase was employing high transmission electron microscopy to examine the structure, size, quality, and other attributes of nanodots.

Blue Light

The complete Fluorescent Nanoparticles experiment demonstrates that a single dot has a thickness of one nanometer and a size between one and five nanometers. Due to their intense luminous blue hue, GQDs can therefore detect the presence of iron or its states and afterward transform it into a sensor.

As we all know, an abnormal deposit of iron in the brain can cause Alzheimer’s disease and worsen cognitive loss. On the other side, the iron buildup is equally bad for the water and the ecosystem.

Additionally, the raw material for the particles is widely available and abundant in tea, and the process is green, inexpensive, and acid-free.

Muneeb Butt Play First Transgender Assistant Commissioner in Upcoming Project with Saba Qamar

Muneeb Butt to take on the most distinctive role of his acting career.

In his upcoming project, Muneeb Butt has revealed that he will be playing the part of a trans assistant commissioner.

As we say goodbye to 2022, a tonne of new TV shows are on the way, with Muneeb Butt and Saba Qamar’s show for ARY Digital being one of the most recent. The six-episode limited series may appear to be your typical serial, but Butt told Images that just by bringing attention to social issues, it is “breaking stereotypes.”

After the government of Pakistan approved the bill protecting the rights of the transgender community. The entertainment sector can easily represent trans characters and their accomplishments in drama serials. In his upcoming project with Saba Qamar, actor Muneeb Butt will represent the country’s first transgender assistant commissioner.

In a post on Instagram that included several images, the actor defined his role.

His caption read:

I’m very happy to announce that I will be characterizing the first trans-Assistant Commissioner in a future project. Something that challenges societal stereotypes. I had been waiting impatiently to share the identity of the character I would soon be portraying. I’ve never had to play a role as difficult or as demanding as this one, and I had to step outside of my comfort zone. I hope the journey will be enjoyable for you. I look forward to hearing from you.

One doesn’t get the opportunity to work on a project like this every day.

“This has a wonderful message that completely excludes such people from our society, leaving them with only a few options for employment, including working as a sex worker, a dancer, or beggaring at intersections. It’s a message that you can achieve anything you want if you work hard, study, and don’t pay attention to what other people think, said the 30-year-old celebrity.

Pak Suzuki Announces Production Plant Closure

Pak Suzuki Motor to shut production from Jan 2-6, reports ARY News.

Pak Suzuki Motors informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) in a letter that the manufacture of vehicles and motorbikes will be fully halted from January 2 to 6. The management opted to shut down due to a conditional license for auto parts and completely knocked down (CKD) kits imports. According to the automaker.

The company asserted that the State Bank of Pakistan’s restrictions is harming its supply chain (SBP).
According to the corporation, conditional approval is impacting export consignments, and the restriction has destroyed inventory.

Earlier this month, Indus Motor Company (IMC) announced a 10-day shutdown of its manufacturing unit due to the central bank’s restriction on the import of completely knocked down (CKD) kits.
Toyota’s manufacturer, Indus Motor Company, has declared a 10-day shutdown of its manufacturing factory from December 20 to December 30.

It added that the decision was made following the State Bank of Pakistan’s ban on the import of fully knocked down (CKD) kits (SBP). Import limitations exacerbated the difficulties of vehicle manufacture by causing a scarcity of raw materials required to run manufacturing plants on a daily basis.
