Pakistan Rangers and Sindh police arrest 5 wanted street criminals.

The official continued, “The accused used to sell pieces of stolen bikes in the market.” Rangers accused was handed over to the police and an additional inquiry was being conducted.

More than 70 people are killed in street crimes in the first eight months of the current year in Karachi, the residents are still at the mercy of criminals.

Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) research claims that between mid-January 2022 and mid-September 2022, there was an increase in the number of street criminal events in Karachi. In the city over the last eight months of this year, street crime has resulted in a total of 71 deaths and close to 300 injuries. Almost 12 citizens lost their lives over resistance to their mugging bids in different parts of the city in the month that is ongoing.

The CPLC has recorded a significant increase in incidents of mobile phone and motorcycle snatching, and vehicle theft compared to the corresponding period year that is last. Throughout the city, up to 58,000 instances of street crime were reported in the first eight months of the current year.

The battery stopped working after 3 months so when the shopkeeper was asked to change the battery that is under-warranty he refused to accomplish therefore and asked for double fees by citing fault in the battery cell. The man has pleaded with the court to order the shopkeeper to cover Rs500,000 as damages to him.

Dengue Cases Continue to Increase in Karachi
