Dengue Cases Continue to Increase in Karachi

Dengue cases surge in Karachi, with 255 new cases report in 24 hours.

According to the provincial health department report, so far 36 people had their lives due to the vector-borne infection in the city that is mega.

In the district East of Karachi, where 78 patients have been infected in the last 24 hours, the majority of cases have been recorded.

29 cases were reported in District Korangi, 55 in Central, 26 in Malir, 39 in South, 7 in Keamari, and 12 in District West.

Karachi has been witnessing one of the dengue outbreaks that are worst in its history this year following unprecedented rains during the monsoon season.

Meanwhile, change in weather has decreased the true number of dengue cases in Islamabad.

According to the statistics provided by the DHO Islamabad, 44 dengue cases have been reported in the capital which is federal.

The DHO further said, the capital that is federal so far reported 2,552 cases of dengue and six deaths.
