Medical experts say that dengue cases’s are being reported more, there is no space for patients in private hospitals, dengue is spreading very fast in Karachi.

Health experts appealed to citizens to be careful and said that clean water should not be collected in houses, mosquito spray must be used.

ISLAMABAD: A sharp increase in the number of dengue fever cases has been seen in Islamabad as 49 extra persons were diagnosed with the disease during the last 24 hours.

According to the statistics issued by District Health Office (DHO), as many as 49 dengue cases were reported in the federal capital, raising the tally of confirmed infections to 422.

District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Zaeem Zia noted that 4 patients were admitted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), eight to federal general hospital, seven to Holy Family hospital and three to BBH Rawalpindi.

During the last 24 hours, Dr Zaeem said, nearly 27 dengue cases were reported from private laboratories in Islamabad. Meanwhile, one person has succumbed to the virus in the ongoing season.

It’s pertinent to say right here that Islamabad reported 53 dengue cases over the last 24 hours on September 7. Amid monsoon season, the cases of mosquito-borne illness have surged in the city.

According to the release, this sale does not give Pakistan any new capabilities, weapons, or military equipment.

The Pentagon highlighted the importance of this sale in maintaining Pakistan’s connectivity with US forces and alliance partners in the ongoing antiterrorism campaign.

The principal contractor can be Lockheed Martin Corp(LMT.N), the Pentagon said. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale.

The Government of Pakistan has requested to consolidate prior F-16 sustainment and help cases to help the Pakistan Air Force F-16 fleet by reducing duplicate case activities and including additional continued support elements. KARACHI: Renowned educationist and politician Hunaid Lakhani passed away on Thursday at a hospital in Karachi. He was 49.
