Colombia was rattled by severe earthquakes, causing widespread panic.
According to a foreign news agency, people reportedly took to the streets in fear after the earthquake in Bogota, the capital of Colombia.

The town of El Calvario, in the center of the country and 40 kilometers southeast of the capital Bogotá, was the epicenter of the earthquake, which the seismological center measured at 6.3 on the Richter scale.
After the shock, several aftershocks of the earthquake continued and one of them has a magnitude of 5.9.
