Sonakshi Sinha OTT debut in criminal drama series Dahaad announced.
In the show, Sonakshi Sinha takes on the role of Sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati, a tough and tenacious female police officer who accepts the challenge of cracking a grisly murder case.
In the teaser, it is revealed that 27 women have allegedly been murdered, but there have been no reports of crime or witnesses, and Anjali has risen up to stop it and seek retribution.
Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar worked together to create the series, which is being made by Excel Media & Entertainment and Tiger Baby. Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Zoya Akhtar are serving as executive producers.
At the 2023 Berlinale International Film Festival, Dahaad had its world premiere to rapturous reviews. Reema Kagti highlighted her enthusiasm for the series and that they were thrilled to introduce it to people throughout the world after hearing such wonderful feedback at the festival.
The Prime Video debut of Dahaad is scheduled for May 12.
