Deadpool 3: First look of ‘Wolverine’ Unveiled

In Deadpool 3, Hugh Jackman will return as Wolverine once more, taking on the character that he purportedly played for the final time in Logan back in 2017.

Of course, he appears in the movie Deadpool with Ryan Reynolds. This morning, Reynolds shared the above first-look image on social media, showing Deadpool and Wolverine side by side.

The most striking aspect of the image, which is a still from the upcoming Deadpool 3 film, is that Hugh Jackman is wearing the iconic yellow-and-blue Wolverine outfit that fans have been waiting to see him wear.

For the writing of Deadpool 3 and the upcoming film’s direction, Shawn Levy (Free Guy) has been engaged by Marvel Studios. Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin are sisters.

After Disney acquired Fox, where the previous two films in the trilogy were produced, the property’s future remained uncertain. Today, Deadpool is ‘officially’ a Marvel Studios production.

With a worldwide gross of $782 million in 2016, Deadpool had a successful box office run. Even that enormous sum was topped in 2018 by the sequel, which earned $785 million globally.

As for Hugh Jackman’s portrayal of Wolverine, he has done so since X-Men in 2000. He took up the part again in a number of films, including as X2 (2003), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), The Wolverine (2013), and Logan (2017).
