This green dot on your Android phone indicates that an app is using a sensor, such as your microphone or camera.
If so, your phone might have spyware apps. If you see a green dot, swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal the microphone or camera sensor.
You can find out which program is using it by the symbol. You can revoke your microphone and camera app permissions by doing so.
