PESHAWAR: Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa this morning.
A 4.9 magnitude earthquake shook several places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Tuesday morning.

According to the KP Seismological Center, earthquake tremors were felt in Swat, Mingora, Lower Pir, Deer Bala and surrounding areas.
Reciting Kalima Tayyaba, people came out of their houses in fear.

However, according to initial reports, no loss of life or property has been reported from any area of KP.
According to NSMC Islamabad, the epicenter of the earthquake was 84 km northwest while the depth of the earthquake was 45 km.
