India involved in killing of Sikh leader in Canada

Strained after the ties as Canada expels RAW chief and India diplomat.

According to the international news agency, the chief of the Indian secret service RAW has been deported to Canada, the relationship between India and Canada has become more tense. Canada asked Indian diplomat to leave the country.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, in his address to Parliament, said that Canadian intelligence has found a link between the killing of Hardeep Najjar and the Indian government. The involvement of a foreign government in the death of a citizen on Canadian soil, they say, is an affront to our sovereignty. The issue was raised with Indian Prime Minister Modi during the G20 summit.

It should be noted that on June 18, Sikhs across the world protested against the killing of Hardeep Singh Nagar, while a pro-Khalistan Sikh leader was brutally killed in Canada.
