Stranded in Israel, actress Nushrat Bharucha safely returns to Mumbai.
The Indian actress had traveled to Israel to participate in the 39th Haifa International Film Festival where her film Akeli was selected, but she was stranded there yesterday due to the Hamas attack on Israel.

Nushrat bharucha lost contact with her team in Israel after the actress last spoke to a team member, who told them that she was safe in the basement.
The actress was contacted after that, the team said. A member reportedly told Indian media. With the help of the embassy, Bharucha, who was released, is being repatriated safely.
However, according to a video posted on Sunday night, Bharucha arrived at the Mumbai airport safely.
After arriving in Mumbai from Israel, the actress reportedly refused to talk to reporters at the airport.
The actress’s mother, Nasreen, had earlier expressed her concern over her daughter’s lack of contact, but later expressed her happiness and said that she and her family were anxiously awaiting her return home.
