Iran Foreign Minister will Visit Pakistan on January 29

The spokesperson of the Foreign Office has said in a statement that a joint press statement has been issued by Pakistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to details, diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Iran have been restored.

The joint press statement said that the ambassadors of the two countries can return to their posts by January 26.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian will visit Pakistan on January 29.

Hussain Amir Abdullahian will come to Pakistan on the invitation of Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani.

It should be remembered that on January 29, Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani emphasized close fraternal relations and cooperation in a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian .

The caretaker foreign minister said that respect for regional integrity and autonomy should be based on cooperation.

Strengthening cooperation and close coordination on counter-terrorism is essential; the two Foreign Ministers have also concurred on the need to de-escalate existing tensions.

After the attack on Iran, Pakistan recalled the ambassador from Tehran. Pakistan also forbade the Iranian ambassador from returning in protest.
