Colonial invasions

Since the beginning of Ramadan, the Israeli authorities have been harassing worshipers without violence from Al-Aqsa Mosque every evening after the end of Taraweeh prayers at around 9:00 local time.

Israeli forces are also restricting who can and cannot enter the area, which Palestinians say violates their right to religious freedom.

Palestinians refuse to abide by the Israeli government’s ban on I’tikaf at the Al-Aqsa Mosque during the last decade of Ramadan.

Israeli forces regularly clear the mosque of Palestinians during all five prayer times, especially at night and after Fajr prayers, to ensure easy infiltration by Israeli settlers.
