Karachi’s Temperature is Expected to Drop to 6-8°C From Tomorrow

Pak Meteorological Department predict cold wave in Sindh with Karachi.

Karachiites will have to layer up for the forthcoming bone-chilling cold, as Karachi’s temperature is about to get colder, with the cold spell commencing to affect upper Sindh and likely to grip the remaining areas starting tomorrow, as per the weather department.

Meanwhile, in Sukkur, Ghotki, Larkana, Qambar Shahdadkot, Kashmore, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Jamshoro, Dadu, Khairpur, Tharparker, and Umerkot districts, the minimum temperature may drop to 2°C-4°C.

The temperature is expected to drop to 3°C-5°C in Shaheed Benazirabad, Naushahro Feroze, Sanghar, Matiari, Mirpur Khas, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, and 6°C-8°C in Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Sujawal, and Badin districts, and 6°C-8°C in Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Sujawal, and Badin.

As per the Met Office’s daily weather forecast, a westerly wave is affecting the upper parts of the country and is expect to continue over the next few days.

The majority of the country’s plains will experience cold and dry weather. Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan, on the other hand, are expecting rain-thunderstorms with snow on the hills.

Malam Jabba received 22mm of rain, Dir (Lower 14mm and Upper 8mm), Saidu Sharif, Buner 12mm, Parachinar 06mm, Kakul, Pattan 03mm, and Balakot, Kalam 02mm.

Snowfall totaled 11 inches in Malam Jabba, 3.5 inches in Parachinar, 3 inches in Rawalakot, 2.5 inches in Murree, Gupis, Dir (Upper), Kalam, and 1 inch in Astore Trace.
