Microsoft Pakistan and HEC sign an Education Transformation Agreement.
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Microsoft have expanded the Education Transformation Agreement (ETA) in Pakistan with a spectacular launch and the offer of 100,000 free Technology skills program certifications for university students throughout Pakistan.
Together, Microsoft and HEC reimagined the educational environment, gave the next generation of students more authority, and reduced the knowledge-to-employment gap. The partnership aims to ensure that Microsoft will provide several services to all higher educational institutions (HEIs) in leveraging new technologies to make learning inclusive, personalized, and student-centric.
This will be done through knowledge transfer workshops and training on cutting-edge MS technologies like Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, and MS Azure. The main visitor during the occasion was Rana Tanveer, Minister of Federal Education and Professional Training.
Both Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission, and Jibran Jamshed, the Country Lead for Jordan, Lebanon, and Pakistan, spoke at the event’s beginning.
