According to Australian media, 65-year-old hunter Kevin Darmody went fishing in north Queensland on Saturday with a group that allegedly scared off a crocodile so he could start fishing.
According to Cairns Police Inspector Mark Henderson, other people fishing with the bar management shouted at him, shouting loudly followed by a large splash of water.

This is the place of crocodiles. If you are near water, especially in Lakefield, which is specifically designated as a crocodile preserve, you need to be prepared for crocodiles.
