According to Indian media reports, authorities raided a hookah bar in Mumbai on March 26, around 10:30 p.m.
According to the report, Indian stand-up comedian Munawar Farooqui was in the bar when the police raided him, resulting in 14 people being detained.
Munawar Farooqui was one of the 14 people who were detained by the police. He was released after a few hours of detention.

While giving an interview to the media, the police claimed that Munawar and other prisoners were running the hookah bar illegally. They also filed a complaint against him under the Smoking and Other Tobacco Products Act. The incident is under investigation.
Police claim Munawar Farooqui was drinking hookah throughout the raid, and they have footage of him drinking as evidence.
