Renowned Indian film art director Nitin Desai found dead at his studio
Police sources claim that Desai was discovered hanged at his Karjat studio. When the police were informed, they arrived quickly. An official told news agency PTI that an investigation into Nitin Desai death from all possible perspectives is presently under progress.
Desai served as the art director and production designer for several Bollywood and Marathi films. He made well-known artistic contributions to films like Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Jodha Akbar, Lagaan, and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
Desai work has received recognition from both critics and viewers. He won three Film fare Best Art Direction Awards and four National Film Awards for Best Art Direction. He received the Padma Shri in 2016, India’s fourth-highest civilian honor.
