Kaaba cover in Makkah to change on the 1st Muharram, Islamic New Year.
Preparations for this change have already started. The management of the Al-Aksoh factory, which manufactures the cover of the Kaaba, claims that 15 people have been given technical training to replace the cover. On the 1st of Muharram, the cover will be changed in the Kaaba in Makkah.

According to the Kiswah factory management, 670 kg of silk was used to replace it. According to him, 100 kg of silver and 120 kg of gold are also included in the ghilaf of the Kaaba.
It should be noted that the ghilaf of the Kaaba was changed for the first time in history on the 1st of Muharram last year. Saudi Arabia has also held a festive ceremony for the change of cover.
It is the most expensive ghilaf in the world, as Kasut also says. Its production cost is 65 million dollars.
