Panjgur Roadside Explosion, Seven Deaths

IED explosion in Balochistan’s Panjgur: 7 casualties were reported.

According to sources, one of the seven people deaths when their automobile hit an improvised explosive device was the chairman of the Balgatar Union Council. However, no official statement addressing the reason for the explosion has been released.

The incident happened in the isolated Kech district, which is located 480 miles or 772 kilometres from Quetta, the provincial capital. Rescue efforts were launched as soon as police and emergency personnel arrived on the scene.

Ishaq Yaqoob, Ibrahim, Nizam Didar, Fida Hussain, Sarfaraz, Safar Khan, and Qasim were the casualties.

The blast, the most recent in a succession of explosions in the violent province, has not yet been assigned a perpetrator.
