According to sources, apart from Ranbir Kapoor, the probe agency is also probing at least 15 to 20 other well-known people. These individuals include Sunny Leone, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Neha Kakkar, Bharti Singh, Ali Azghar, Tiger Sheriff and Pakistani musician Atif Aslam.

The Enforcement Directorate (EDI) last month seized assets worth Rs 417 crore in connection with an online betting case, and the Mahadev book app, an online betting platform, is currently under Indian police investigation.

The investigating agency claims that the promoters of the company are from India and the main office of the gambling app, from where the app is operated, is in the United Arab Emirates.
