Sending Heart Emoji Can Now Land You in Jail

Sending a heart emoji to a woman without consent punish by 2 years.

Arab media claims that if you send a heart emoji to a girl on WhatsApp or any social media platform, inciting indecency will be punished in Kuwait. It carries a minimum sentence of two years and a fine of 2,000 Kuwaiti dinars.

It should be remembered that last year in febraury Saudi Arabia, it was said that sending heart emojis will be punishable by a fine of 100,000 Saudi Riyals and 2 to 5 years in prison.

In Saudi Arabia, for repeatedly committing this crime, the fine can be doubled to 300,000 riyals and there is also a 5-year prison sentence. In Saudi Arabia, sending romantic feelings is also seen as harassment.
