SRK security heightened amid death threats, Mumbai Police informed.
According to Indian media, Khan will now be provided with Y+ category security following a written complaint against actor Shah Rukh Khan after receiving death threats following the success of his recent films Pathan and Jawan.
According to the details, Y+ security includes the deployment of six personal security officers PSOs who work round the clock in three shifts, along with five armed guards stationed at the person’s residence. Bollywood actor Salman Khan also has Y+ security due to threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
It has also been reported that Khan’s upgraded security details will be paid for by the star himself. Famous stars will pay the amount to the state government. It is not clear who made the threats.
Khan’s latest film, Jaawan, has surpassed his previous release, Pathan, to become the top Indian film of 2023. Jawan, the heartwarming story of a father-son duo determined to fight corruption in Indian society, launched on September 7 with a record.
It has since grossed an astounding $130.3 million, surpassing the $126 million earned by Pathan , which hit theaters in January, Variety reported. This dynamic performance has placed Jawan and Pathan fifth and sixth respectively on the all-time Indian box office charts.
