Singer Shaan makes acting debut in the musical film ‘Musical School’.
Singer Shaan said that he was composing a song for the film but had no idea that he would be playing a role in the Paparo Biala-directed film Musical School.
The 50-year-old artiste said, “When I first started working on the music school song, I had no idea that I would be acting in it.” Paparo Biala, the director of the film, suggested casting me while I was recording the song as he thought I was suitable for the role he was looking for.

I got the idea of the story when I was recording the song, but when Paparo sir read the script, I immediately got into it. Much of the filming took place in Goa, which added to the beauty and dynamic experience. It was an incredibly wonderful trip.
According to sources, Musical School, which is slated to release this week, explores the educational pressure placed on children by their parents, teachers and society through music.
