Snowfall Continues in Naran On Second Day

Kaghan Valley sees 2nd-day snow, up to 6 inches in Naran and Kaghan.

The Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) is stationed at numerous spots with machinery to assist and evacuate tourists’ automobiles. Yesterday saw the first snowfall in the upper reaches of the Hazara division including Naran.

Following the second straight day of continuous snowfall, the Mansehra Jalkhad (MNJ) route has also been blocked to all traffic, and commuters from Northern areas have been urged to utilize the Karakorum Highway (KKH).

According to reports, Babusar Top received more than ten inches of snow, Naran received six inches, and the hills received four inches of snow last night.

Most Prominent Ttourist Destination

Naran is a town and the most prominent tourist destination in the upper Kaghan Valley in the Mansehra District of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

It is 119 kilometres (74 miles) from Mansehra City and is at an elevation of 2,409 metres (7,904 ft). Naran is approximately 65 kilometres (40 miles) from Babusar Top. It is a popular tourist destination both locally and globally. Valley is also Pakistan’s most visited valley, with over 1.5 million visitors each year.
