Buckingham Palace announced Britain King has been diagnosed cancer.
The British royal house, Buckingham Palace, has revealed in a statement that Britain King Charles has been diagnosed cancer.
According to a statement released by Buckingham Palace, it is not prostate cancer but was discovered during recent treatment for an enlarged gland.
King Charles spent 3 nights in hospital last month where he underwent surgery for an enlarged prostate.
A statement released by Buckingham Palace said that cancer was diagnosed during treatment at the hospital.
However, according to royal family sources, it is not prostate cancer.
According to the statement, the king has started regular treatment from Monday, during which he has been advised by doctors to postpone all his public engagements.
Throughout this period he will continue to conduct state affairs and official paperwork as usual.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sonak expressed his best wishes for King Charles on ‘X’.
“I have no doubt that he will make a full recovery soon and I know that the entire country will wish him well,” he said.

Opposition Labor Party leader Keir Starmer also wished him well in his recovery, saying he looked forward to seeing him back to full health soon.
