US has condemned the attack on PTI election rally in the Balochistan.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) attack an electoral rally in Sibi, a city in the southwest Pakistani province of Balochistan, and the US has condemned the incident.
The attack was one of many violent occurrences that Pakistan has seen in recent weeks. The country is preparing for the general elections scheduled for February 8.
US State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller offered his sincere condolences to the victims of the attack on the PTI party gathering in Pakistan during a press conference in Washington.
“We have faith in the Pakistani people’s fortitude and capacity for healing. This attack is only one of many that have been made against various parties in Pakistan within the past month. There have been multiple attacks on the election commission itself, he claimed.
“We dedicate ourselves to collaborating with Pakistan in combating the common threat posed by terrorist organizations across the region. We also respect the Pakistani people’s right to choose their leader without fear of violence or retaliation,” Miller stated.
