Twitter CEO Musk announce payment for verified creators in ad replies.
“X/Twitter is going to start paying content creators for adverts displayed in their replies. $5 million is paid in the first block. Keep in mind that only ads provided to authenticated users count, and the creator must be confirmed.
Elon Musk said on Twitter that the initial first payment block has been set aside for this reason and would be roughly $5 million.
In a few weeks, X/Twitter will start paying creators for ads served in their replies. First block payment totals $5M.
Note, the creator must be verified and only ads served to verified users count.

The change coincides with Linda Yaccarino’s appointment as CEO of Twitter, which came amid worries from advertisers about the placement of their advertisements. Yaccarino is a seasoned advertising executive from NBCUniversal.
