Karachi: Saudi Arabia hires Pakistan to promote cricket on its soil.
According to sources, in light of the increasing popularity of cricket, the Saudi Arabia Crown Prince has invited the owner of Quetta Gladiators, a well-known PSL franchise, Nadeem Umar, to promote cricket in his nation.
Sources said, Nadeem Umar, who was invited by the Saudi government on a special invitation, will present suggestions to the relevant authorities for the development and promotion of the sport, and memorandum of understanding will also be signed between Quetta Gladiator and the Saudi government in this context.
According to sources, Nadeem Umar will build the Saudi national cricket squad with his team, and the franchise will also form the Saudi local cricket system.
Former Test captain Sarfraz Ahmed, as well as head coach and former Test captain Moin Khan, will play key roles in this endeavor.
Meanwhile, the cricketing world has rejected the Saudi government choice of major names, hailing Nadeem Umar nomination as a wonderful honor for Pakistan.
It should be mentioned that Nadeem Umar was just elected unopposed president of the Karachi area in a Pakistan Cricket Board election.

Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud, also known as MBS or MbS, is the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.
He is also the chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs and the Council of Political and Security Affairs.
