Director Ismail of “Bodyguard” Died from Heart Attack

Director Siddique Ismail, known for “Bodyguard,” dies of heart attack.

According to the report, Siddique Ismail had a heart attack on Monday morning while receiving treatment for liver-related conditions in a hospital.

On July 10, 2023, the 69-year-old director was admitted to Kochi’s Amrita Hospital for treatment of pneumonia and respiratory problems. He suffered a heart attack on August 6.

According to reporters, he was a well-known Malayalam director and screenwriter who was well recognized for his work on the films Friends (2001), Engal Anna (2004), Sadhu Miranda (2008), Kaalavan (2011), and Bhaskar Oru Rascal (2018).

Big Brother, an action thriller from 2020 starring Mohanlal, Arbaaz Khan, Anoop Menon, and Honey Rose, was his last project as a filmmaker.

His dead remains would be kept at Kadavanthra Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium from 9 am to 11:30 am. It will then be stored in his home so that visitors can pay their respects. According to the source, the funeral will take place on Wednesday at 6 o’clock.
