Foreign media reported that a freight truck collided with a line of vehicles that was stopped due to road construction in Melanchthon, Ontario, where the accident occurred.
Alexandra Paul‘s 10-month-old child, who was also in the car at the time of the collision, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and three other people were injured, police said.
Canada’s representative at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Russia was Alexandra Paul.
