Fans advised Hassan Ali to retire

Pakistani bowler Hasan Ali surprise by retirement, ‘I am still young.’

Hassan Ali, a fast bowler who made his Pakistan debut in 2016, was not selected for any of the shorter format series this year, though he did play a match against New Zealand this year. Due to the good performances of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah, they have not got a chance to play so far. But fans are now urging him to stop playing and take retirement, which is surprising to him.

A fan on Twitter pleaded with him to stop playing white ball cricket. He also suggested that Arshad Iqbal should be included in place of injured Naseem Shah in the upcoming World Cup.

He said that Hasan Ali’s participation will give opportunity to the opposition batsmen to take wickets and the Pakistani team may face embarrassment in the World Cup. Addressing Hasan directly, he suggested retirement.

The said user wrote in a post that look at Arshad Iqbal’s extra bounce, he rarely bowls a bad ball, it is difficult for batsmen to score runs against him. Hasan Ali comes only to set the batsmen at the crease and we should not be humiliated in the World Cup, so Hasan Ali should announce his retirement from white ball cricket.

Arshad Iqbal is no doubt a fantastic bowler but Hasan Ali responded to a user on social media saying why should I retire, I am still a young 29 year old.
