Pak Met Department Predicts Coldest Weather in 100-Years of History.

Pak Met Department Predicts that the Nights of January 12 to January 15 may be the Coldest Nights and Days in the 100-year History of Pakistan.

In the meantime, Pakistan can get snowfall at any time of day or night, just like Saudi Arabia.

The areas which may receive snowfall are the following districts of Central Punjab.

Gujarat, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Multan, Khanewal, Bahawalpur, Kasur, Vihari, Okara, Sahiwal, Hafizabad, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Leh, Chiniot, Sargodha, Khushab, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, and Rahimyar Khan included.

This will be the worst cold wave in history across Pakistan, especially in Punjab. Cold and dry weather in Islamabad area during Friday to Sunday is likely to remain foggy in the morning hours.

From Friday to Sunday, the weather is likely to be cold and dry in the upper regions of the country, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will experience severe cold.

During this time heavy fog will prevail in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

On Saturday, the weather of Balochistan is expected to remain cloudy, with thundershowers and snowfall in the mountains.

While there is a possibility of fog in Upper Sindh and South Punjab during the night and morning hours.

The weather is likely to remain cold and dry in most of the southern parts of the country on Sunday.

People are informed not to leave their homes unnecessarily during this time, do not travel to northern areas.

Drink plenty of water. Consume more coffee, Wear thick woolen clothing, Be aware of people around you, neighbors and poor people.
