KARACHI: Country’s famous guitarist Adnan Afaq passed away in Karachi after prolonged illness.
According to a news channel, Guitarist Adnan Afaq was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Karachi due to stomach cancer.

Adnan Afaq was the teacher of many artistes and the chairman of the music section of the Arts Council of Pakistan.
He announced his cancer diagnosis last month after working in Pakistan’s music industry for decades.

At the end of its inaugural Alumni Festival, Arts Council Pakistan also honored Adnan Afaq for his services.
